I have tested with fan's and without fan's on a Raspberry PI 3B+ with a full CPU load. The results aren't very different. The fan's makes an irritating noise. The case it self is okay, but the screws and tools are not really of high quality. Don't over tighten! The only thing missing are rubber feet so that you don't get scratches on the surface on which you put the Raspberry PI.
